Based on our research and buyer reviews — we have not tested this unit hands-on.
Still an excellent pocket vlogging camera in 2026, and the one to buy if you find it discounted. You give up the newer models’ built-in storage, longer battery and higher frame rates, but the core — a 1-inch sensor on a real 3-axis gimbal — is unchanged.
What we like

The Osmo Pocket 3 was the camera that turned the Pocket line from a curiosity into a serious vlogging tool. A 1-inch sensor, a proper mechanical gimbal and a screen that rotates to flip between vertical and horizontal shooting — in 2023 nothing else this small came close.
Three years on, the sensor and gimbal are still the reason to buy one. The Pocket 4 uses the same 1-inch class sensor and the same 20mm f/2.0 lens, so at the level of image quality the two are close relatives. Where the Pocket 3 shows its age is everywhere around the sensor: it has no internal storage, the 1300 mAh battery is rated for 166 minutes against the Pocket 4’s 240, and slow motion stops at 4K/120fps.
Our take: if you can find a Pocket 3 well below the Pocket 4’s ₱28,990 launch price, it is the smart buy for anyone who mostly shoots talking-head or travel clips and does not need 240fps. If the gap is only a couple of thousand pesos, spend the extra on the Pocket 4 — the storage and battery alone are worth it.
